Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Letterbox, an independent service run by an individual based in India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Letterbox, you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you agree on its behalf.

Accounts and workspaces

You need to be 18 or older to use Letterbox. Keep your password safe and tell us if you think your account was used without permission. Workspace owners and admins decide who joins their workspace and are responsible for what their members do in it.

Acceptable use

Letterbox is for handling conversations with people who contacted you. You agree not to:

• send spam, bulk, marketing or unsolicited email through Letterbox;
• send anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
• use it to process data you don't have the right to process.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, especially when email sending is abused.

Your content

You own your workspace content. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to run Letterbox for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the right to share your customers' data with us and for complying with the laws that apply to your email.

AI features

AI features suggest drafts, rewrites and summaries. They can be wrong, so review them before you rely on them or send them. Letterbox never sends AI-written email on its own.

The service

We work to keep Letterbox available and secure, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and it may change over time. We'll give reasonable notice before removing major features or ending the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using Letterbox at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account or workspace is closed, we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Letterbox in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we'll update the date above and tell account owners about significant changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
